Tommy Corey is an Outdoor Photographer, Photojournalist, Filmmaker and Thru-Hiker from Northern California.
Tommy's work has an interpersonal focus on people from all walks of life, showcasing them through portraiture and storytelling while emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the outdoors. He is in the final stages of completing his "All Outdoors Souls" book, which will feature portraits and stories of 100 individuals from various outdoor realms, including sports, recreation, and professions.
In 2018, he thru-hiked the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, which paved this path to his career as an outdoor photographer. Tommy loves sharing nature with others and creating spaces where everyone feels included. Growing up in Northern California and spending childhood in the Trinity Alps, gave him a deep appreciation for nature and the time spent outside with friends, both new and old.
On April 15th, 2018, I started on a 2,650-mile journey along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), which spans from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, traversing six eco-zones and seven national parks.
